The Judiciary of Uganda is a creation of the Uganda Constitution 1995 under chapter 8, Articles 126 to 150.As part of its modernisation process and in order for it to meet the expectations of court users the Judiciary has established a Website as one of the Vehicles for public information. This website is designed as an easy to use tool which at the same time is authoritative.'The mission of the Uganda Judiciary is: 'An independent, competent, trusted and accountable Judiciary that administers Justice to all.' Through this website, therefore, the Uganda Judiciary hopes to provide its users a forum for quick information collection, analysis, dissemination and feedback about the services rendered by it. The website will provide you with information on the Judiciary as well as on the administration of justice in Uganda generally. I commend it to you and hope that you will find it useful.
